One of the cute little bats that lives in the cave. They are about the size of a chicken nugget.

This is a part of the cave we were allowed to touch. Other parts couldn't be touched because the oil on your hands would prevent the stalactites and stalagmites from growing.
We celebrated Sarah's 13th birthday while we were visiting.

Go jump in a lake! Lake Travis, specifically. The air was 106, and the water was in the 80's.
Ana Marie getting a chance to drive the boat.
Lily, Lucia, Sarah and Ana getting pulled on the giant tube called 'Big Boy'. We had them skidding across the water pretty good. Dylan was driving.
The boat didn't go fast enough for Lucia, but she still had a good time trying to knock the children off the Big Boy.
Friends and Texas!
From Lily:
When we walked out of the car and into Texas for the first time we were welcomed by a huge heat wave! We knew it was coming and we knew it was going to be big, but we didn’t know that it was going to feel this hot!! Even the air felt hot and humid outside! It’s go that our friends had good AC at their house! We went to a lot of fun and wet places despite the heat: like the swimming pool down the street from their house, Barton Springs, (Which is a big natural spring with algae at the bottom and has a diving board and is very VERY cold), the blue hole which is a big (not blue) lake that you can rope swing into! Very fun, but felt very unsafe like most places my dad leads us to! And, of course, Inner Space Caverns! The big cave that we went in last year that was so good we had to come again! It was cool to experience total and complete darkness again and to see so many different rocks and formations of rocks that are just plain cool! And the best part, it was wet and cold 70 feet below the street! And little cute bats hanging from the walls! So yes, even with the hotness, Texas is one of the most fun places I’ve been on this whole trip, but the most fun in Texas was to get to see my long lost friends agai
