Yesterday, Aug 12, we went to the Smithsonian. Did you know that if you spent 30 seconds on each exhibit you would spend 10 years there! That’s how much stuff or “Important things” they had there. So we just had to go see our favorites. Oh, did I already say that my cousin Ana joined our adventure? So we all chose our favorites that we wanted to see: I picked Dorothy’s ruby shoes from the old movie, The First Ladies, and Abraham Lincoln's hat that he wore when he was killed. 

First we went to the First Ladies. All there beautiful and colorful Dresses were there! Even Michelle Obama’s inauguration dress was there! It was very pretty! “When I get marred I want to have a dress like that!” Said Julia after we took a photo with it. After that we went to the ruby shoes. Did you know that when they clean the ruby slippers they do it one sequin at a time?! By the time we got to Lincoln's hat my feet hurt! Probably because we had taken the metro there and had to walk the rest of the way! Anyway, after that we went to the Natural History Museum! That was huge! And at the end of the day it was good to watch some TV! All-in-all it was a great day!
