TN to DC

The last day we were in Nashville we picked up Ana Marie from the airport and hit the road. It took a couple of long days to get to DC from Nashville. The girls burned off their energy at the pool each night. We arrived early in DC on a rainy Sunday afternoon and decided  to just take it easy. The girls swam, had pizza and got ready for the next day. It continued to rain and just about the time we were ready to go to bed there was a cool thunder storm. There was lightening and that was pretty fun to watch.

The next day we hit the National Mall.

That's the Capital behind us ~ we'll tour it Tuesday.

The girls got a glimpse of Dorothy's ruby slippers at the American History Museum.

We stopped to rest in front to the Washington Monument and had fun taking pictures.

We took a tour of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing were we watched how money is printing. We saw of pallet of money worth $64,000,000!

William had a chance to reconnect with some memorabilia from his youth.
